Executive Assistant®: Uninstall Previous Version

This install set for the CEO Executive Assistant® version replaces files previously registered to the 1.X version of the Executive Assistant®. If you have a version 1.X installation, you must uninstall version 1.X before installing version 2.X or higher.

What version is currently installed?
  1. To determine which version is installed, open your Executive Assistant®.
  2. Launch any of the Scanning, Filing, or Viewing modules.
  3. Open the Help menu and select the About menu item.
  4. The system loads a dialog stating, "Version: X.X.X"

How do I uninstall version 1.X?
  1. To uninstall version 1.X, open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Open the Settings menu and select the Control Panel menu item.
  3. Run the Add/Remove Programs utility.
  4. Select the CEO Image Systems Executive Assistant® menu item.
  5. Select the Remove option and click the Next button.
  6. The system loads a Confirm File Deletion dialog. Click the OK button.
  7. The system loads a Shared File Deletion dialog. Check Don't display this message again and click the No button.
  8. Click the Finish button.
