Data Directory

When you open the Executive Assistant® for the very first time, the system may ask you to specify the Data Directory. The Data Directory contains subdirectories of filed Documents for each File Cabinet and a _Queue subdirectory for queued, unfiled Documents.

The installation should do this for you, but, in the event that the Data Directory has not been set, a Confirm Data Folder dialog will appear, prompting you to confirm "Data for the Executive Assistant® will be stored in C:\CEO Image Systems Executive Assistant®\Data".

To accept the directory mentioned in the prompt, click the Yes button.

To specify a different directory in which to store your Documents, click the No button and browse to the location where you would like to store your Documents. Select any file within that directory and click the Open button
