Installation Instructions
Please read the following
READ
ME file for important installation instructions.
Anticipated Storage Requirements:
Estimate your anticipated hard
disk storage requirements based upon the volume and format of
pages you are going to be scanning. "An average letter size
text page scanned in a B&W compressed TIFF format averages
40-50 kb or 20,000 -25,000 pages per GB of hard drive space.
This translates to about 10,000 pages on average per 650 MB
CD. The same letter size page scanned as an uncompressed
gray scale TIFF or a color JPG likely is going to be 5 times or
larger in file size; so, storage requirements will be 5 or more
times greater if stored as one of these image formats."
